Imaginary Museums Performance
Based on the main activities of Paper Mill and the natural and architectural surroundings, we developed 20 themed shows for school audiences and families on the grinding of cereals (corn, wheat and rye), the manufacture of olive oil and the production of paper in a logic of performing arts with a focus on classical and contemporary dance.
Project in the context of the relationship between dance, heritage and architectural space. Spectators are invited to see and participate in a site-specific format session at the Paper Mill space. During the performance, participants are invited to re-imagine the architectural space and to reinvent the mill’s history by exploring a universe of movement, sound, architecture and nature.
