Rose of the border Performance
Performance and Media Art Week includes performances, training and a colloquium, starting with “Rosa de Fronteira”, by Inesa Markava.
Jardim Luís de Camões hosts an intervention by Inesa Markava, “Rosa de Fronteira”, a proposal that marks the beginning of the Week of Performance and Media Art, promoted in Leiria by Banco das Artes Galeria , curated by Ana David Mendes.
Border, limit, nature and environment are basic themes of this performance created by the dancer, researcher and creative from Leiria, in a choreographic dialogue with the visual artwork “Reservoir of time”, by the Brazilian artist Bruna Mibielli, which will be extended on the sidewalk floor from the garden.
The intervention evokes planting, touching the earth, watering plants in the middle of the city, inviting the public to reflect on the importance of the relationship with nature, through the memory of ancestral rituals.
