ONE, TWO, THREE…PLOC! DRIP AGAIN.
Show with artistic crossing dedicated to children.
A sensory journey where we are invited to discover new ways of imagining, observing, reflecting, listening, feeling and communicating. Come and discover the adventure of ten drops of rain with the book How many drops in the city!. Each drop falls on top of a character, which makes this story magical and fun. This is an educational-artistic project created from the children’s literary work “Quantas pingas na Cidade” by Eva Montanari. Like its original version, this show addresses the theme of Water and its cycle in a performative and very complete way. If until now schools, in the context of the classroom, read the story “How many drops in the city”, explored its narrative and illustration, investigated the sound of rain and created a sound object that portrayed it, today a show is proposed interactive with the audience. The production was supported by CENCAL and one of the main scenic elements is made of blown glass – the drop of water, which makes this show a vehicle for promoting the magnificent glass art of Marinha Grande. This show is produced by Contempo, whose mission is the production of artistic interventions specially designed for early childhood, children and young people with the aim of promoting the approximation and understanding of the public and art.
